I was born in Corning, NY and raised in the nearby Bath area. Since that time I have lived in Illinois (twice), South Carolina, Arizona and North Carolina. I attended Haverling Central High School, Corning Community College and Bradley University. Graduating in 1974, 1976 and 1978 respectively.

Since moving to North Carolina my interest in photography has increased dramatically. Moving into the digital age in 2006, I converted all of my Pentax 35 mm equipment into digital. As of 2017, I switched from Pentax to Nikon.  In 2020 I moved to mirrorless cameras and equipment.  I now have a Z6 and Z9 with accompanying native lenses.  What a blast!

I primarily do sports photography including but not limited to minor league hockey, air shows (including some air to air!), arena football, minor league basketball, various NC State athletic events such as women's volleyball, gymnastics and basketball.  I am the official photographer for the Wake County Senior games covering events from bowling to track and field!

Ah, variety is the spice of life.  (And photography!)
